Meet John, a passionate photographer and filmmaker who has been capturing the beauty of people and the world around him since the age of 12. What started as a hobby with a borrowed twin lens reflex camera in Germany has turned into a lifelong passion for John.
With a background in drama, John's photography skills are informed by his knowledge of composition and storytelling, allowing him to create stunning and evocative images that capture the essence of his subjects. He earned a BFA in Acting and Directing for Stage from the University of North Carolina - Greensboro, where he honed his skills in directing live theatre productions.
After moving to San Francisco, John expanded his skill set by studying video production. Now, he has founded Belle Obscurité Boudoir, a photography and video production company that specializes in boudoir photography and promotional portraiture for entertainers, performers, cosplayers, and content creators.
Through his work, John aims to help his clients see the beauty in themselves that their loved ones see, and to help them tell their unique stories through stunning images and videos.
